Seiche is a research and information service. It reads public data published by official sources (the Federal Reserve, the New York Fed, the Office of Financial Research, the U.S. Treasury, the CFTC, the ECB and similar) and computes indicators, readings and historical diagnostics from that data. The website, including the Time Machine and dispatch archive, is available without payment or sign-in. Some machine interfaces may use bearer tokens, per-call limits or separately stated access terms.
Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or other instrument. Seiche is an impersonal publication of general and regular circulation. It does not know your situation and its readings are not tailored to any person. Do not make investment decisions based on this site. If you need advice, engage a licensed adviser.
The methodology publishes failures next to successes and states the evidence boundary beside historical figures. Current historical diagnostics use final/current-vintage construction-PIT data and are not validated backtests. That disclosure is a design principle, not a warranty. Data arrives with the native lags of its sources, computations can contain errors, and past indicator behaviour does not predict future behaviour. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Optional accounts may be used for email alerts or token-authenticated machine access. Keep credentials safe and do not share them. We may suspend credentials that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it or evade published limits. You can ask for your account to be deleted by writing to [email protected].
Crawling, indexing, quotation and AI use are welcome as described in robots.txt. Respect published rate limits; do not send traffic that degrades the service, probe or attack infrastructure, bypass access controls, or misrepresent Seiche readings as your own work.
The Seiche source code is offered under AGPL-3.0. Published pages may be crawled, quoted, indexed and used as AI input or training material with attribution. Rights and redistribution conditions for underlying source data remain those of each source; this site cannot grant rights it does not own. API consumers must carry provenance and any redistribution limits returned with the data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, including trading or investment loss, arising from use of or reliance on this site. If a paid machine call or separate service is offered, its price, delivery and any refund terms are the terms shown at purchase.
These terms may change as the service grows. The date above moves when they do. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the change.
